Success is often forged not in grand announcements but in individuals' consistent effort and quiet dedication. This truth is evident in the people at Select VoiceCom who embody everyday excellence. Their commitment to showing up and giving their best underscores a fundamental principle: excellence isn't a one-time act; it's a habit.
For Q3, we honor three individuals whose work ethic and drive for excellence have earned them the title of Q3 Titans: Jecyl Garnada, Jonies Acapulco, and Paula Repollo.
This recognition highlights the impact that individual dedication can have on a team. These Titans set an example through focus and perseverance, proving that hard work pays off.
Journeys That Define Dedication
Jecyl Garnada began her professional journey in healthcare, but her decision to join the BPO industry gave her a new avenue to grow. Today, as a Patient Care Coordinator, she draws from her background as a registered nurse to provide reliable patient support.
"Being a Titan means growth and opportunity. It's about stepping up to challenges and becoming better, not just for myself but also for the team and the company," she said.
Jonies Acapulco, known to colleagues as John Brown, is a trainer and a team lead. A graduate of education, he brings his love for teaching to his role at SVC. Starting as a Retention Specialist, he steadily climbed into leadership, becoming a trusted trainer for the new hires in the team.
When asked what it means to be a Titan, he said, "This recognition means so much to me because it validates my commitment to being a dedicated and reliable employee. It shows that Select VoiceCom truly values hard work and that my efforts have not gone unnoticed."
Paula Repollo, or Shane as her colleagues fondly call her, found her calling in combining empathy with precision. An easygoing, adventure-loving person who enjoys water sports and spending time with family and friends, Paula serves as a Patient Care Coordinator at SVC. She maintains accurate patient documentation and ensures seamless coordination among doctors, nurses, and specialists.
"I've always been passionate about helping people and making meaningful connections, which naturally drew me to the BPO industry," she shared.
For Paula, being a Titan is both an honor and a responsibility.
"It means being recognized not just for doing your job, but for going above and beyond. It's a reminder that our work matters, and that showing up every day with integrity, empathy, and a commitment to excellence doesn't go unnoticed."
Rising Above the Everyday Challenges
Every role comes with hurdles, but how you face them makes all the difference. For Jecyl, the challenge of balancing multiple urgent tasks taught her to prioritize and stay organized. She recalls one moment when a client requested a last-minute quality check just before her shift ended. Rather than passing it on, she stayed to finish the job.
"Instead of leaving it for the next day, I decided to extend and complete the task immediately. That way, the client got the results they needed without delay, which helped maintain their trust in our team," she explained.
Jonies faced one of his toughest challenges when asked to lead a large training session across multiple teams. Though caught off guard, he leaned into his strengths as an educator, creating an environment where everyone could learn together. Later, he helped a trainee on the verge of failing their evaluation, not only to pass but also to excel.
For Paula, one of her biggest challenges came from handling a high volume of patient charts while simultaneously responding to clinician requests, all under time pressure.
"At first, it was easy to feel overwhelmed trying to balance speed, accuracy, and the need to provide consistent, high-quality support. I focused on improving my time management and staying organized to overcome this. I began prioritizing tasks more strategically, using checklists, and setting clear follow-up timelines," she shared.
Finding Balance Beyond the Desk
Balance is a cornerstone of each Titan's journey. For Jecyl, it's about keeping her body active and her mind refreshed through sports and long walks. She stays healthy and energized by setting clear work and personal time boundaries.
Jonies finds grounding in the kitchen. Cooking for his partner and sharing meals with colleagues helps him unwind after a long day. For him, maintaining work-life balance means setting clear boundaries.
"This healthy separation between work and home helps me recharge and stay energized, allowing me to bring my best self to both," he shared.
Paula embraces a similar sense of balance. Her adventurous spirit, from water sports to quality time with loved ones, helps her stay centered and ready for each day's challenges.
"Having something fun to look forward to really helps me recharge. I also enjoy catching up with friends over dinner and exploring new restaurants and cafés, which I'm passionate about."
Words That Carry Forward
When asked to share advice, each Titan turned to lessons that reflect their values.
For Jecyl, success comes down to consistency and mindset:
"Consistency is key. It's not about being perfect every day, but showing up, giving your best, and maintaining a positive attitude."
For Jonies, teamwork and initiative are key:
"Make sure you have a solid grasp of the core skills and knowledge required for your role. Second, be a team player. SVC is all about collaboration, so you need to be willing to share your ideas, listen to others, and work together to get things done. And finally, don't just sit around waiting for instructions. Look for ways to improve, solve problems, and contribute to the bigger picture."
For Paula, excellence begins with being proactive and connected.
"Build strong relationships with your team and clinicians, because collaboration makes everything smoother. In a fast-paced environment like SVC, being organized and detail-oriented helps you balance accuracy with efficiency. Most importantly, maintain a positive attitude. Challenges will always come, but staying calm and open to learning will help you grow and succeed."
A Shared Standard of Excellence
What makes a Titan isn't one big moment; it's the consistency of showing up, giving your best, and lifting others along the way.
Jecyl, Jonies, and Paula have proven that success thrives in those everyday decisions to stay committed, to care, and to keep improving. Their stories reflect what makes SVC great: people who take pride in their work and find meaning in teamwork.
