When Eva Lyn Albarico joined Select VoiceCom in 2022, she came in as a Patient Care Coordinator. What followed was more than two years of steady progress, quiet perseverance, and personal transformation, culminating in her recent promotion as a Trainer.
"I started as a Patient Care Coordinator in September 2022 and held that role until February 2025."
Her journey was anything but smooth. Assigned to a particularly demanding account, Eva Lyn found herself dealing with constant pressure and frequent escalations, challenges that ultimately shaped her into a stronger, more resourceful professional.
"It was truly a roller coaster journey, especially since I was assigned to a particularly challenging clinician who often didn’t comply with agency protocols. I had to escalate issues almost daily just to complete my tasks, which tested my patience and pushed me to be more resourceful."
From those early experiences, she gained something invaluable: the ability to collaborate with a wide range of personalities and work styles, skills she now brings into her new role.
"That experience taught me not just perseverance, but also how to effectively work with people from diverse backgrounds, something I now carry with me as I transition into my new role as a trainer."
In her next chapter, Eva Lyn takes on the responsibility of guiding new hires, adapting to each individual's pace and needs with empathy and intent.
"As I begin this next chapter, I know I’ll be working with new hires who have different learning styles and paces. This challenges me to adapt, be empathetic, and truly meet them where they are."
She’s especially excited to pay it forward by sharing not only technical knowledge but the core values that helped her thrive through adversity.
"What excites me most about this role is the opportunity to give back, to share the lessons I’ve learned, not just in terms of process, but the values that kept me grounded: humility, resilience, and the willingness to grow."
"I started as a novice, focused only on improving myself so I could better support the client and my clinician. Becoming a leader was never my goal, it just naturally followed from my desire to be better and set a good example for others."
Eva Lyn sees her promotion not as a finish line, but a reflection of the work and heart that got her here.
"This promotion is something I’m truly grateful for, but more than anything, it’s a reminder to stay humble, keep learning, and keep lifting others as I climb."
