Rhea Stephani Mira was recognized as SVC Titan of the Month for July 2024, standing out among her fellow top performers. Since joining Select VoiceCom in October 2021, Rhea has consistently shown professionalism, integrity, and excellence as a client-dedicated call center agent. At 27, she has proven herself to be much more than just a pretty face and friendly voice. With almost 3 years under her belt, she hasn’t only shown outstanding work performance but also achieved one of the highest honors an employee can receive—recognition from the client.
Her years of service led her to a proud milestone when she received a heartfelt appreciation from a client, thanking her for helping their company get back on track. For Rhea, this recognition was a big accomplishment for a lead generation representative like her. It only shows how dedicated she is to supporting SVC clients in sustaining their businesses, wherever they are in the world.
Rhea took a leap of faith and pursued a career in the BPO industry. While others found their feet right after getting hired, she got off to a somewhat rocky start. She worked as a call center agent for an account that was later dissolved after 2 months. That time, it seemed like an unfortunate turn of events. Little did Rhea know that it was the beginning of a more fulfilling job for her. She was moved to another campaign that led her to a career journey filled with success, recognition, and rewards.
In her interview on the SVC Spotlight podcast, Rhea spoke warmly of her experience at SVC, sharing how much she enjoys working in the company and with her colleagues. She mentioned, “I can do my work or perform my tasks at my own pace without compromising the results.” Rhea also excitedly discussed their campaign’s store on the production floor, where agents use points earned from their performance and attendance to bid for appliances and groceries. She proudly shared that her first reward was a cellphone, which she earned with 180 points.
When asked about her work struggles, Rhea candidly responded, “So far… I want to be honest. No. I actually…I’m enjoying a lot here.” She acknowledged that, like everyone else, she faces personal problems outside of work. But she emphasizes that she doesn’t let those issues affect how she carries out her duties or how she takes calls. This only shows that she remains positive, committed, and resilient, balancing her personal and professional life with impressive dedication.
Rhea is not just about clocking in and out—she’s about making every moment count. Her motivation? Her clients’ trust in her, her financial goals, and her desire to stick around and make her mark in the company. “I want to work here for a long time.” She said this with a serious face that tells you she means it.
The call center world has taught Rhea a lot, and the art of patience was one of the many things that she took to heart. “This job has taught me how to be patient. As a person, I don’t have patience. If you have a child or if you have experience working with a telco prepaid account, that job really would test your patience a lot.”
If she could hop in a time machine, she would tell her younger self, “Take it easy. Don’t be too hard on yourself, and please step outside. Avoid staying too much in your room and meet more people. Appreciate simple things in life. Celebrate simple things.”
For colleagues, newbies, and industry professionals in the BPO scene, Rhea has some advice: “You should try to apply in the BPO industry because it’s so much fun. It offers a lot, like you will learn a lot. You will enhance your communication skills, your listening skills…the pay and incentives.”
Rhea’s approach to her work reflects her positive attitude and dedication. She always gives her best and finds joy in her role. For her, there’s no secret to becoming an SVC titan. She believes anyone can achieve great things in the company, including winning this award. Rhea says, “Just have to be your best at work. Enjoy working here and have faith in your work that it will reward you in return—so like, in simple words, love your job, and your job would love you back.”
Rhea shares her success with her immediate supervisor, Grace, who guided her through challenges and supported her growth in the company every step of the way. “To CM Grace, thank you for giving me this opportunity to win this big award. And thank you so much for everything you do, and appreciate you for creating a positive work environment and not just for me but for all of us sa among campaign (in our campaign).”
She also gives a shout-out to her friends, especially Caramel, who’ve been with her since the start of her career at SVC. “I also want to take this time to thank all my friends who’s been with me since day one. So, Caramel, thank you so much for everything you do, and I want to work with you guys for a very, very long time. And I hope you guys…I wish you the best.”
