April 18, 2026, was no ordinary Saturday at Select VoiceCom. Employees, their families, and guests gathered at the University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF), Lahug Campus, for SVC Kasadya 2026: Sports Fest and Family Day, a full day of sports and shared moments that reminded everyone what the SVC community is all about.

From thrilling matches to spontaneous conversations between teammates, the day delivered countless highlights. But when employees were asked what stood out the most, a few highlights kept coming up again and again.

Here are 10 things we won't forget about SVC Kasadya 2026.

1. The Energy of the Opening Parade

The day began with excitement as the four competing teams—Blue Kraken, Yellow Phoenix, Red Barracudas, and Green Serpents—marched to the gymnasium for the opening parade. Each team proudly carried its banner, greeted by cheers from coworkers, friends, and families.

Hosted by Mark Anthony Guerra and Reeve Granzon, the program opened with the Philippine National Anthem and a prayer, followed by the Oath of Sportsmanship led by Roem Rosa, setting the tone for a day of fair play and camaraderie.

2. CheerTok and Power Chant Performances

One of the loudest moments of the day came during the Power Chant and CheerTok competitions. Teams brought their creativity to the stage with costumes, props, and coordinated performances that had the crowd roaring with excitement.

For many employees, the performances were unforgettable.

"CheerTok!" said Justine, who loved the energy and creativity each team brought to the stage.

3. Thrilling Games Across Every Court

By 10:00 a.m., the entire venue had transformed into a multi-sport arena. Basketball, volleyball, badminton, and pickleball matches were happening simultaneously, creating a lively atmosphere filled with cheers and friendly rivalry.

For Jeff, the thrilling games were the highlight of the day. Close matches and big plays kept spectators on their feet from start to finish.

4. Healthy Competition

While each team aimed for victory, the spirit of the event remained rooted in camaraderie.

"Healthy competition," shared John, capturing what many participants felt throughout the tournament.

The games brought out the best in everyone, pushing teams to perform while still celebrating one another's efforts.

5. The Kasadya Quest Challenge

The Kasadya Quest turned the venue into a playful treasure hunt. Employees searched for hidden stickers scattered around the grounds, competing for prizes such as sacks of rice, trays of eggs, and SVC merchandise.

It was a simple concept, but it quickly became one of the day's most talked-about activities.

6. Food Vouchers and Festival-Style Dining

Every employee received ₱500 worth of food vouchers, giving them access to a wide selection of food stalls across the venue.

For Kirstie, the vouchers were definitely a highlight.

The lineup included favourites such as:

  • Ngohiong Express
  • 38 Coffee
  • McDonald's
  • Hungry Dog
  • Tiktilaok
  • Crab Pro
  • Ned Nanay's Grill
  • Fruitas brands (Fruitas, Jamaican Patties, Friends Fries)
  • Joy Ice Cream

From savoury meals to sweet treats, the food stalls added to the festive atmosphere.

7. Food and Refreshments All Day Long

For most employees, the food and refreshments were simply unforgettable.

Throughout the day, employees and families enjoyed snacks, drinks, and meals while catching up with colleagues and watching the games.

8. The Kid's Play Area

Kasadya made sure that the youngest members of the SVC family had just as much fun as the athletes.

The Funbee Mobile Playground created a lively kids' play area, complete with inflatables and interactive play spaces, giving children a safe, exciting place to run, jump, and play while parents enjoyed the day's activities.

The laughter and excitement from the playground added another layer of joy to the event.

9. Family Time

Kasadya wasn't just about competition. It was also about spending time with loved ones.

For many employees, seeing their children, spouses, and families join the celebration made the event even more meaningful. Moments like these reminded everyone that the SVC community extends far beyond the workplace.

10. New Connections and Stronger Bonds

Beyond the games and activities, the event created opportunities for employees to connect with colleagues from across teams and departments.

"New connections," shared Via, reflecting on the conversations and friendships formed throughout the day.

Moments like these remind everyone that the SVC workplace is more than a professional environment. It's a community.

Celebrating the Champions

As the day came to a close, the tournament champions were recognised. Yellow Phoenix dominated the competition, winning multiple sports categories and team contests.

Champions

  • Basketball — Yellow Phoenix
  • Volleyball — Yellow Phoenix
  • Badminton — Yellow Phoenix
  • Pickleball — Blue Kraken

CheerTok Champion: Yellow Phoenix

Power Chant Champion: Yellow Phoenix

The wins were impressive, but the biggest victory was the collective experience across teams.

More than a Sports Fest

At the end of the day, the scoreboards told only part of the story.

SVC Kasadya 2026 reminded everyone that the strongest teams are built not only through work but also through shared experiences outside the office.

Events like these reflect Select VoiceCom's commitment to building a workplace culture where employees feel proud to be part of the SVC community.

And if this year's Kasadya proved anything, it's that the SVC family knows how to work hard, play hard, and celebrate together.
