At Select VoiceCom, Father’s Day is more than just another occasion this June. It’s a once-a-year event to honor all SVC fathers from different campaigns and departments for their hard work on and outside the production floor. We know the practical needs of Gen X and Millennial dads like them. So, on this special day, we surprised 118 super dads with a handy kit with custom-made tools they can use all the time, whether they’re at home, at work, or on the go.
Every day, these dads wake up to play their role as Superman of their own families and work tirelessly to provide for them. And like Superman’s alter ego, Clark Kent, they are eager to perform their jobs well despite the tough challenges that come with their roles. So, this Father’s Day, we wanted to make them feel appreciated and valued. Your love for your family and dedication to our company make you the best working dads in the industry.
24 Hours in the Shoes of a Call Centre Father
Fathers working in a call centre, like SVC dads, have different “normal” routines than most. Their nights are the start of their days—they wear headphones instead of sleepwear. And instead of telling bedtime stories to their kids, call centre dads talk to their customers over the phone about how to resolve their problems. But one thing remains the same: their hard work and patience to do their job well, whether as a dad or an agent.
As the sun shines, they go home for another shift to fulfill their other roles—as husbands to their wives and fathers to their children. You may notice the dark circles under their eyes or hear the sound of their yawns. But you’ll never know how much energy they have left after work because they always give their all to their families, no matter what. That’s just how loving and amazing they are!
