SVC’s Dilaab 2024: A Celebration of People and Defining Milestones

There’s something magical about the end of the year—a time to reflect, celebrate, and look forward to new beginnings. For Select VoiceCom (SVC), the year-end celebration Dilaab: A Year-End Celebration of Excellence was more than just a company party. Held on December 8, 2024, at the grand Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino, this highly anticipated event brought together the SVC community to honor achievements, recognize loyalty, and reignite the fire of collaboration and growth.

Named after the Cebuano word for “flame,” Dilaab symbolized SVC’s burning passion for excellence and unity. And, as the vibrant halls of the venue buzzed with excitement, it was clear that this wasn’t just any corporate event—it was a celebration of people, milestones, and shared success.

Lighting the Flame of Gratitude and Recognition

The evening began with heartfelt remarks from Mark Shapiro, CEO of SVC, who perfectly encapsulated the spirit of the event. Here is his speech:

Good evening, everyone, and welcome to the SVC Christmas Party 2024!

Wow, what an incredible turnout tonight. It’s truly wonderful to see all of you here, looking fantastic and ready to celebrate.

First, I’d like to take a moment to thank the amazing team who worked tirelessly to organize this event. Your hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed, and we are all so grateful for the effort you’ve put into making tonight so special.

As I stand here, I’m not only reflecting on the incredible year we’ve had but also looking forward to the exciting opportunities that lie ahead. Tonight, I want to share a vision for the future—a future filled with promise, innovation, and success that we will build together.

Every year, we celebrate milestones, and 2024 has been no exception. This year, we’ve achieved so much:

We’ve grown by nearly 200 agents, bringing our total team to almost 1,000 strong.

We’ve completed our brand-new office in Davao, expanding our reach and capabilities.

We’ve rebranded our U.S. operations from Executive Boutique to Select VoiceCom, and with that came the successful launch of our new website.

We’ve also built out a dynamic sales and marketing team, positioning us for even greater success in the future.

But what excites me most is not just what we’ve done—it’s what lies ahead.

The world around us is changing rapidly, particularly with the rise of AI tools and technologies. With these changes come challenges, yes, but they also bring extraordinary opportunities—opportunities to innovate, expand into new markets, and redefine what’s possible for SVC.

As we look ahead to 2025 and beyond, I see a company that’s not just growing in size but also growing in impact. A company that sets new standards for excellence and creates opportunities for every one of you to thrive.

But this vision isn’t just about the company; it’s about you. It’s about how we can support your growth, your ambitions, and your dreams. Whether you’re an agent, a team leader, or part of our incredible management and staff team, you are the foundation of everything we do. As we move forward, we’ll continue to invest in you—in your skills, your development, and your success.

Achieving this vision, however, requires more than just ambition. It demands collaboration, determination, and a shared commitment to excellence. And I have no doubt that, together, we have the talent, the drive, and the unity to make this vision a reality.

So, as we celebrate tonight, let’s not only look back on what we’ve accomplished but also look forward with excitement and determination. Let’s dream big, work hard, and create a future brighter than we can imagine.

Recognizing the Titans of SVC

A highlight of the evening was the recognition of the SVC Titans, employees who have gone above and beyond in their roles. These individuals embody excellence and inspire those around them:

• October Titan: Shaynne Mae Ayoma – RNN Campaign
• November Titan: Little John Belonguel – MPS Back-office, Titan of the Year
• December Titan: John Kenneth Pino – EPOCH

The crowning moment came when Little John Belonguel was named Titan of the Year, a well-deserved accolade for his exceptional dedication and performance.

Honoring Years of Loyalty

SVC also paid tribute to its Loyalty and Service Awardees, recognizing employees who have devoted years to the company. From 5 to 15 years of service, these awardees represented the heart of SVC’s workforce.

Beyond individual awards, Dilaab shone a spotlight on SVC’s collective achievements in 2024, including the opening of its Davao Branch, the expansion of its 5F office, and the seamless merger of Executive Boutique into Select VoiceCom. These milestones showcased SVC’s rapid growth and its vision for continued success.

Exhilirating Performances

Adding to the celebratory atmosphere were show-stopping performances from the Dance ’Til Dawn Dance Crew and the harmonious vocals of RAA Rhythm, a choir that left the audience spellbound. And when DJ Edz Mabini took over for the after-party, the energy on the dance floor was nothing short of electric.

Prizes, Surprises, and Smiles

Of course, no SVC event would be complete without a bit of excitement. The raffle draw was a crowd favorite, with prizes ranging from gift certificates to luxurious staycations at Waterfront Hotel and Costabella Resort. The grand prizes —a jaw-dropping₱5,000, ₱10,000, ₱20,000, and ₱30,000 cash prizes—brought the house down, met with cheers and confetti as one lucky winner walked away with the ultimate reward.

SVC Celebrates You

At its core, Dilaab was a celebration of the people who make SVC what it is. It was a night that reminded everyone of the value of teamwork, collaboration, and community.
