Select VoiceCom (SVC) was recognized by the Department of Education (DepEd) Lapu-Lapu City Division for its "exemplary dedication to community-rooted and learner-centred initiatives."
SVC was among the top 16 stakeholders, out of 25 partners, that received the award, held on December 12 at Crown Regency Suites and Residences in Lapu-Lapu City.
SVC's recognition underscores its significant role in public education, particularly through its July 2025 Back-to-School Donation Drive, which made a meaningful difference for students in under-resourced areas of Cebu by donating computers, clinic supplies, and other essential school materials.
A total of 200 students from four schools benefited from the program, including Agus, Buyong, and Soong elementary schools in Lapu-Lapu City.
Supporting Education, Strengthening Communities
SVC's accounting officers attended the summit to receive this award on behalf of the company.
"This recognition affirms our shared commitment to uplifting learners and supporting the communities where we operate," said an SVC representative. "We are grateful for our partnership with the DepEd Lapu-Lapu City Division and remain dedicated to expanding our impact through future education-focused initiatives."
Select VoiceCom's ongoing dedication to corporate social responsibility reflects its deep-rooted belief that sustainable business growth is closely linked to meaningful community engagement. Through initiatives that reach beyond the workplace, SVC consistently advocates for access to quality education and strives to create positive, lasting change in the communities it serves.
