Select VoiceCom (SVC) believes that true success is not only measured by goals met but also by the spirit, resilience, and inspiration our people bring to the table. This quarter, we proudly celebrate not one but three remarkable women who have gone above and beyond, earning their well-deserved place in the spotlight. Meet our Titans for the first quarter of 2025: Grace Sagarino, Joy Dela Peña, and Elle Faburada.
These women carry inspiring stories of passion and finding balance through life’s everyday challenges. In heartfelt one-on-one interviews, they shared their journeys, the lessons they’ve learned, and what keeps them going at work—and in life. Here’s a glimpse into what makes them true champions in every sense of the word.
Passion with Purpose
Every extraordinary achievement begins with a story, and our Titans' stories are rooted in purpose and passion.
Joy, an accounting specialist, joined SVC after a close friend encouraged her to apply. “It’s been a great experience working together,” she shared, noting how collaboration has shaped her time at SVC. What keeps her going? The thrill of solving payroll issues and knowing her efforts have a tangible impact. “Helping the team and contributing to the company’s success is so rewarding.”
Elle, who works as a recruitment specialist, began her SVC journey shortly after lockdowns were lifted. For her, joining SVC meant opportunity and growth. “Interviewing different kinds of candidates, building relationships, and seeing them succeed. These are the things I love most about what I do.”
Grace, now a Campaign Manager, started at SVC as an agent. She steadily rose through the ranks, driven by a refusal to settle for mediocrity. “What I value most in my role is having a voice to effect positive change and be heard,” she shared.
Excellence Fueled by Balance
All three women credit their success in striving for their best selves in every aspect of life. Each of them believes that excellence is most sustainable when paired with balance whether it’s pursuing hobbies, nurturing relationships, or simply making time to recharge outside of work.
Grace draws strength from her faith and family. “I was already a mother when I accepted this position,” she said. “My daughter is my biggest motivation, and she’s the reason I show up every day and take full responsibility.”
Outside work, Grace enjoys running and is an active member of S.O.A.R. (SelectVoice Com Outdoor and Recreation) club. And just recently, she completed the Dalaguete-Mantalongon Trilogy, climbing three of Cebu’s highest peaks.
Joy also finds comfort in connecting with nature, whether she's hiking, camping, or soaking in beachside sunsets. She also gives a shout-out to the SVC outdoor activity club for helping her stay balanced: "It's a perfect blend of staying engaged at work while making time for personal well-being."
For Elle, it's the combination of sports and family. "Badminton helps me reset, and my family is my support system. I also make sure to draw the line between work and home life. It keeps me focused and refreshed."
Staying Grounded, Striving Forward
When asked how they maintain consistency in their work, these women echoed a belief many of us strive to live by: stay committed, and aim to improve a little each day. For them, it’s about showing up with purpose and continuously evolving into a better version of themselves, both personally and professionally.
Joy stays motivated by challenging herself to level up. "Meeting deadlines and solving problems gives me that sense of accomplishment. That's what keeps me going."
Elle thrives on progress, no matter how small. "Even seeing a single quality hire makes my day. I also love being able to build professional relationships with candidates and seeing them grow within the company."
Grace embraces the power of perspective. “There are daily challenges in this role, and yes, I experience burnout too. But I’ve learned to let go of things I can’t control and let God take over. When things get tough, I focus on my daughter. She reminds me why I keep pushing forward.”
From Titans to Trailblazers
Success stories often carry lessons worth passing on. And when we asked our Titans to reflect on theirs, they shared wisdom shaped by experience.
For Joy, it’s about being present in the journey. Her favorite piece of advice? “Keep growing while enjoying the moment.”
Elle, always grounded yet forward-thinking, emphasizes finding alignment between work and well-being. “Choose a career that brings you both fulfillment and peace,” she said.
Grace, ever reflective, holds close to a belief that has guided her through every challenge: “For everything you go through, there’s a reason,” she shares. “Eventually, you’ll understand why things had to happen the way they did.”
And when it’s their turn to pass the torch, their advice to others is just as thoughtful.
Joy encourages consistency with compassion: “Stay focused, but take breaks when you need to.”
Elle champions curiosity and kindness: “Be kind, ask questions, and never stop learning.”
And Grace reminds us to trust in a bigger plan: “Do honest work and let God take care of the rest.”
None of them expected the recognition, and all three expressed genuine surprise and gratitude at being named Titan winners, especially knowing they were chosen from among so many hardworking peers. Their humility is a reflection of both their character and the high-performing environment we continue to build at SVC. Here, excellence is a shared standard, and recognition is a celebration of both individual and team success.
