Strength manifests in many forms. Sometimes it's about bouncing back from challenges; other times, it's the joy of building connections or the drive for continuous learning. At Select VoiceCom (SVC), this strength shines through our incredible team members who show up each day committed to making a difference.
For Q2, we celebrate three exceptional women: Izamie Reyes, Lujen Gako, and Michelle Cataluña. Their stories remind us that success at SVC isn't just about what we do but how we do it: with grit, purpose, and care.
Rising with Strength and Purpose
At just 22, Izamie Reyes has shown that age doesn't define one's ability to succeed. As an Attendee Support Representative, she ensures guests have seamless and meaningful experiences across various channels through emails, phone calls, or social media. Her attention to detail, proactive communication, and heartfelt commitment to guest satisfaction garnered trust from clients and colleagues.
For Izamie, her motivation runs deep. As the breadwinner of her family, she feels a profound sense of responsibility and pride in her work. "I take pride in helping our guests have a great experience during events," she said. For her, being a Titan means embracing teamwork, dedication, and a commitment to excellence.
Lujen Gako, a Senior Team Lead and proud single mother, reflects on her journey in SVC as both challenging and transformative. She sought a fresh start when joining the company and discovered not just a team, but a sense of home. "I was inspired by the BPO industry's inclusive culture, where everyone has an equal opportunity to excel," she shared.
Her defining moment arrived in 2023 when she accepted a leadership role while preparing for major surgery, a pivotal challenge in her life. "I was torn between accepting the position (team lead for our campaign) and prioritizing a major surgery, but I chose to face both the challenges head-on: to take the lead and to fight through recovery," she recalled.
This experience became her source of faith, resilience, and personal growth. Today, Lujen leads with calm strength, connecting with her agents and clients daily, prioritizing their progress and fostering genuine relationships beyond mere tasks.
Michelle Cataluña balances two roles, booking Consultant and Trainer/Coach, where empathy, leadership, and communication are key. "Being a Titan entails consistency, empathy, and a drive to uplift those around you, not just achieving goals but enriching others' experiences," she noted.
Her days involve empowering clients to make informed decisions about their photoshoots while mentoring bookers to become confident storytellers. Although juggling these demanding roles can be challenging, Michelle finds fulfillment in both aspects. "Some days are about pushing through; others require pausing and resetting. Nevertheless, I keep advancing," she explained.
A standout moment for her was when she coached a struggling booker from another group, helping them regain confidence and purpose. "True leadership isn't about titles; it's about being present and supportive when someone needs guidance," she reflected.

Where Life and Work Find Harmony
Each Titan thrives not only through work but through meaningful life experiences that restore and recharge them.
For Izamie, nature serves as her sanctuary. She finds renewal watching sunsets and cherishing time with family and friends. "Patience and communication apply not just to work but also enrich life," she said. She has learned to balance responsibilities with self-care by setting boundaries and practicing organization.
Lujen draws her strength from laughter, faith, and family. Her weekends are often filled with quality time with her kids and siblings, enjoying coffee and heartfelt conversations. She smiles as she talks about her growing wine and book collection, which reminds her to savor life one moment at a time. "Balance isn't perfections; it's about appreciating the present and doing your best with what you have," she asserted.
For Michelle, family time at the racetrack cheering for her son' push-bike racing has become a cherished shared passion. "Both work and family require presence," she said. "It's not about achieving perfect balance every day but knowing when to pause and recharge."
Together, these three women exemplify that true strength isn't solely cultivated at work; it's nurtured by the people and experiences that matter most.

Lessons Worth Sharing
When asked for advice on someone who wants to excel at SVC, all three Titans centered their insights on growth, purpose, and consistency.
Izamie emphasizes the importance of curiosity. "Stay open to learning, build strong relationships, and be proactive," she advised. Listening and adapting, she believes, are crucial for success in a fast-evolving environment.
Lujen speaks to resilience and heart. "While challenges are inevitable, believing in yourself and maintaining your foundation makes a considerable difference," she said. Her advice is cultivating genuine connections with your team, clients, and yourself, reminding us that every small effort counts when done with sincerity.
For Michelle, success is rooted in consistency and self-awareness. "Focus on growth, not perfection. Some days you'll meet your targets; others, you won't. What's essential is learning from every experience," she shared. Her favorite career wisdom came from a mentor: "Lead from where you are." This mindset has shaped her approach to leadership, confirming that impactful contributions can come from any level.
