Select VoiceCom (SVC) brought a splash of tropical magic to its Halloween festivities with “Tales of the Pacific: A Moana Adventure”—a fun-filled event held from 10 AM to 12 NN on the 5th floor last October 26, 2024. The event featured everything from exciting games to a creative costume contest, making it one of the highlights of SVC’s Halloween celebration. With 196 children (and plenty of parents and guardians in tow) eager to join the fun, this celebration truly captured the spirit of Moana’s adventurous journey.
A Journey Across the Pacific—SVC Style!
From the moment the kids arrived, they were swept up in the magic of the event. Each child received a Halloween loot bag filled with healthy snacks and treats to kick off the day. But the real excitement started with an interactive performance by hosts dressed as Moana and a pirate from the Dream Catchers Live Team. They brought the Pacific to life, leading the kids in a sing-along to the most iconic songs from Moana, making everyone feel like they were on their own adventure across the ocean.
After the lively performance, it was time for the much-awaited Trick-or-Treating. Families got to explore the Hogwarts-themed sections of the office—an extension of SVC’s previous Halloween events—where characters from different Hogwarts houses handed out candies and treats. The combination of Moana and Hogwarts was a unique twist that added to the day’s charm.
Games, Creativity, and Costume Fun
The event continued with three exciting games, keeping the kids entertained and engaged. But the highlight for many was the costume contest, where creativity took center stage. Out of all the participants, ten children were awarded prizes for their fantastic costumes. Eight kids received ₱500 each along with treats, while two lucky winners with the most creative costumes took home ₱1,000. The variety of costumes—from Moana-inspired outfits to traditional spooky Halloween getups—added to the festive spirit, as parents cheered on their little ones.
Building Bonds Through Fun
Beyond the games and prizes, what made this event so special was how it brought together families and employees in a meaningful way. Many families took the opportunity to snap memorable photos with the themed decorations, leaving with not just treats but lasting memories of a day well spent.
