The Office Gurus (TOG), the contact centers segment of Superior Group of Companies (Nasdaq: SGC), has acquired Select VoiceCom (SVC), an established BPO provider in the Philippines with over 1000 employees.
The acquisition expands TOG's presence in the Philippines through SVC's Cebu and Davao delivery centers, combining SVC's workforce and client relationships with TOG's global resources and expertise.
On November 3, 2026, SVC and TOG leadership gathered with employees to celebrate the acquisition and discuss the transition. The event also recognized SVC's 18-year history and the contributions of its founders, Mark Shapiro and Trevor Michael, and Chief Operating Officer Jermaine Arco.
Shapiro welcomed the acquisition as an opportunity for further expansion.
"TOG didn't acquire SVC because they wanted to change everything we've built. They acquired us because they recognized the value of what we've built, and especially the people who made it possible," he shared.
He described the milestone as a celebration of SVC's achievements over the past 18 years and the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

During the discussion, Mark Lyndsell, Executive Vice President of Global Operations, confirmed that compensation, bonuses, commissions, 13th-month pay, and existing benefits would remain unchanged in the immediate term. SVC's current leadership structure will also remain in place.
TOG also plans to introduce learning resources and leadership training programs to support career development and internal advancement.
Employees raised questions about job security, healthcare coverage, and leave policies. Mitch Korb, Vice President of Human Resources, reaffirmed TOG's commitment to employee support and said they will review potential improvements. No immediate policy or benefit changes were announced.
TOG leadership will work with SVC's local HR, payroll, and recruitment teams to support the transition.
"Select VoiceCom has built a terrific business over 18 years, with a talented team, strong client relationships, and a people-first culture that aligns with our own," said Dominic Leide, President of The Office Gurus, in the official acquisition announcement.
The acquisition marks a new chapter for SVC, with both organizations prioritizing employee support, client relationships, and future growth opportunities in Cebu and Davao.
