In celebration of our 15th anniversary in business, Select VoiceCom committed to serving 15 communities over 15 months and completing 150,000 volunteer hours. Through this Project 15 initiative, we would like to express our gratitude for the support we’ve received over the years. Many things changed in our company before reaching this milestone, so we wanted to share our blessings and wins by giving back to the communities in need.

1. Making Golden Years Gleam: Senior Home Visit
On March 11, 2023, SVC volunteers put smiles on the faces of elderly residents at the Daughters of St. Camillus Home for the Aged in San Jose, Cebu City. Our team prepared a day of laughter, exciting bingo games, and nonstop karaoke. Before the day ended, we donated diapers, toiletries, and cleaning supplies.
2. Bringing Hope and Nourishment: Charity Drive and Feeding Program
On April 5, 2022, Select VoiceCom volunteers fed the homeless families in every corner of Downtown Cebu City, including those in Colon Street, Plaza Independencia, and other areas near the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral. With warm meals and warmer smiles, SVC gave these underprivileged families the nourishment and hope they needed.
3. Building Better School Facilities: Brigada Eskwela
On June 25, 2022, SVC volunteers cleaned and painted the activity center and Grade 8 Building of Don Vicente Rama Memorial National High School in Cebu City. Aside from improving the school facilities, SVC also donated school supplies and essential hygiene supplies to DVRMNHS on September 27.
4. Nourishing the Malnourished: Feeding Program
On July 4, 2023, SVC volunteers prepared and cooked healthy meals for 16 malnourished children for two months in Barangay Subangdaku, Mandaue City. SVC President Trevor Michael and Chief Operations Officer Jermain Arco joined the volunteers in distributing food and getting to know the children’s parents.
5. Promoting Health and Hygiene: Operation Tuli
On July 29, 2023, Select VoiceCom’s registered nurses from our healthcare accounts performed free circumcision procedures on 76 young boys at Tipolo Health Center in Mandaue City, Cebu. Our volunteer nurses supported the barangay healthcare workers to ensure the boys' health and hygiene.
6. Sharing Love, Joy, and Hope: Children’s Shelter Visit
On August 24, 2023, Select VoiceCom visited the kids at SOS Children’s Village in Barangay Talamban, Cebu City. Our volunteers spent a day full of wonderful family games and storytelling sessions with the children. SVC also donated school supplies and essential items, such as rice, vitamins, and medicines, to SOS.

7. Sowing the Seeds of a Sustainable Future: Mangrove Planting Initiative
On March 25, 2023, Select VoiceCom volunteers sowed over 200 mangrove seedlings in CotCot, Liloan, in celebration of Earth Hour. We also spearheaded a coast cleanup drive to dispose of garbage that could pollute the ocean and harm marine life. SVC initiated this project to protect the areas vulnerable to typhoons and storm surges.
8. Rooting for a Greener Tomorrow: Tree Planting Initiative
On April 2, 2022, Select VoiceCom planted 300 coffee seedlings in Barangay Cantipla, Cebu City, in a conscious effort to help save our environment. More than sowing seeds and growing trees, SVC aimed to create a greener environment that the Cantipla residents and their future generations would enjoy for the years to come.
9. Addressing Pollution for a Healthier Environment: River Cleanup
On June 10, 2023, Select VoiceCom’s SVC Riders Club initiated a river cleanup drive to help revive the Tigbao River in Barangay Bacayan. During this project, our volunteers were able to remove over 10 kilograms of garbage, including plastic bags, bottles, slippers, shoes, cigarette butts, and food wrappers.

10. Breathing New Life to Homes: House Repainting Project
On February 25, 2023, Select VoiceCom volunteered to repaint the subsidized houses awarded to underprivileged families in Barangay Lorega, Cebu City. Knowing the financial struggles of these families, our volunteers took it upon themselves to renovate the houses by adding splashes of colors to each wall.
11. Rallying for Learning: Maleta Library Storytelling
On February 25, 2023, Select VoiceCom delighted 30 children from Barangay Lorega, Cebu City, with a fun and engaging storytelling session. SVC volunteers captivated their young minds and hearts with amazing stories. Our team also treated these kids to children’s books, exciting games, and delicious lunch meals.
12. Shooting Hoops, Fulfilling Dreams: Basketball Boot Camp
On March 19, 2023, Select VoiceCom’s SVC Bulldogs basketball club fulfilled the dreams of young athletes in Barangay Mabolo, Cebu City. We organized a basketball boot camp where these young players played their hearts out on the court. The club provided them sports gear like balls, water jugs, face towers, and socks.
13. Fostering Strong Connections: Effective Communication Talk
On May 8, 2023, SVC gave a thought-provoking talk about effective communication to senior high students at Sta. Cruz Learning Center in Catarman, Liloan, Cebu. Our volunteers helped these students to become effective communicators who know how to clearly express themselves and confidently interact with others.
14. Giving Voice to the Voiceless: Animal Welfare Advocacy
On May 28, 2022, a group of Select VoiceCom volunteers spent their day with the rescued dogs and cats at the Island Rescue Organization (IRO) shelter in Barangay Guba, Cebu City. Our team made sure to shower these animals with the love and care they deserve by bathing, feeding, and tending to these fur babies’ needs.
15. Running for a Cause: Fun Run Event
On October 8, 2022, Select VoiceCom sponsored the Grand Mantawi Cebu Eagles Club’s initiative, Heroes Day FUN RUN 2022, held at Plaza Independencia in Cebu City. Our employees participated to support the club’s outreach activities, particularly this unity run to save Abra.
