Every great dad has a story full of love and sacrifice. From supporting their families to creating opportunities for their children, they carry responsibilities that go beyond basic provision.

On June 19, in celebration of Father's Day, Select VoiceCom recognised its hardworking dads, honoring their dedication as both devoted parents and valued employees.

To mark the occasion, SVC gave each dad a 5-kilogram bag of rice and a greeting card featuring a personalised cartoon portrait.

"The tokens are very essential and creative at the same time," said one dad who described the gifts as both practical and thoughtful.

The Motivation Waiting at Home

Everyone has something that keeps them going.

For one SVC employee, that reason becomes clear at the end of every workday.

When asked about his favourite thing about being a father, he said:

"Knowing someone is waiting for me to come home."

Many fathers can relate to that feeling. No matter how stressful or tiring the day has been, there's comfort in knowing your family is waiting for you. And that's what makes all the hard work worth it.

A Different Definition of Success

Becoming a father changes the way many people look at life.

Goals that once focused on personal achievements shift toward creating a better future for their children.

One SVC father shared how parenthood changed his perspective.

"My perspective changed when I became a father. I want my kids to have a comfortable and well-provided life."

It's a feeling many parents understand. Success becomes less about yourself and more about giving your children opportunities and a good life.

Lessons Passed From One Generation to the Next

Fatherhood often comes with lessons that are passed from one generation to another.

Guilio, a father of two, shared a piece of advice to those new dads trying to balance work and family life:

"Put your family first in every way you can without exhausting your well-being. The happiness and smiles of your kids will be the strength of your soul."

He also shared a lesson from his own father that still guides him today.

"There's a million solutions in a single problem. You just have to choose what is best to solve it."

Simple advice like this stays with us for years and becomes something we eventually pass on ourselves.

The Legacy of Fatherhood

Fatherhood is a journey made up of countless small acts that leave a lasting impact.

Though their daily sacrifices may often go unseen, their perseverance is deeply cherished by those they hold dear.

To all SVC dads, thank you for giving your best every day. You are needed, and you matter more than you realise.

Happy Father's Day.
