From February 9 to 20, the 10F Lobby buzzed with activity as employees gathered around the Love Archive mirror to capture moments with teammates. Throughout the week, laughter and smiles filled the floor as teams gathered for photos. The mirror became more than just a decoration—it was a centrepiece for stories and memories, reflecting the spirit and connections we've built together at SVC.
A Sweet Valentine's FriYay With Yoyi's Cakes & Pastries
The highlight of the celebration unfolded early on February 13, when the 10F Lobby buzzed with excitement at 5:00 AM for Valentine's Day FriYay. Dessert boxes from Yoyi's Cakes & Pastries, adorned with red ribbons, created a bright and festive atmosphere throughout the lobby.
Each box was packed with classic favourites: brownie, revel bar, cassava cake, nutty brownie, and butterscotch, making sure there was something sweet for everyone. A total of 900 dessert boxes were handed out, turning the early morning into a warm Valentine's gathering filled with smiles and shared stories.
For the first time, SVC went paperless for FriYay. Instead of the usual coupons, employees just presented a QR code to claim their dessert boxes. The smooth transition from paper to digital made the distribution easier, demonstrating SVC's commitment to innovation and care for its teams.
One employee shared her thoughts on the celebration:
"I love this month's FriYay treats. They are perfect for Valentine's."
Another employee, John, appreciated the events SVC provides, such as FriYay.
"It really means a lot to have something fun to look forward to every month. It shows that we're valued not just for our work, but for who we are as people."
Valentine Serenade and Love Confections
As team members picked up dessert boxes, the Music Hub Club set the mood in the lobby with live performances of classic love songs. The music brought a cheerful energy, brightening the early morning for those starting their shifts and providing a sweet send-off for those finishing theirs.
Love Confections added to the celebration, highlighting the theme of sweetness and sharing. With treats and music, an ordinary workday morning became a meaningful Valentine's experience for everyone.
